Upon your arrival, our company tour guide will warmly welcome you at the airport. Thereafter, you will be transferred to Kandy. If time permits, you will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way, where you can observe and interact with these gentle giants. The journey will also include a visit to a traditional herb and spice garden, offering insight into Sri Lanka’s rich Ayurvedic heritage. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant cultural dance show that showcases the island’s traditional arts. Your overnight stay will be in the scenic city of Kandy.
After breakfast, you will depart for Nuwara Eliya. The morning begins with a spiritual visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, an iconic symbol of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. You will then enjoy a scenic ride around the picturesque Kandy Lake, soaking in the serene surroundings. On the way to Nuwara Eliya, you will stop by a tea factory to witness the art of Ceylon tea production. A highlight of the journey will be a visit to the stunning Ramboda Waterfall, offering a perfect photo opportunity amidst nature. The day concludes with an overnight stay in the cool and charming town of Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast, you will begin your journey from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo. Before leaving the hill country, you will enjoy a short city tour of Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” for its colonial charm and cool climate. A visit to the sacred Seetha Amman Temple, steeped in Ramayana legend, will add a spiritual touch to your morning. As you descend from the hills, you will pass by and admire the beauty of two of Sri Lanka’s most picturesque waterfalls – St. Clair and Devon Falls. Continuing the scenic drive, you will arrive in Colombo, the bustling commercial capital, for your overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will explore the vibrant commercial capital of Colombo. This morning city tour will give you a glimpse into Colombo’s rich colonial heritage, modern architecture, and bustling urban life. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy some shopping at popular malls and local boutiques, perfect for picking up souvenirs or gifts. Depending on your flight schedule, you will then proceed to the airport with cherished memories of your journey through Sri Lanka
