Day by day
Airport to Sigiriya
Upon your arrival at the airport, our company tour guide will warmly welcome you and accompany you throughout the journey. Your first destination will be the historic Dambulla Cave Temple, renowned for its ancient murals and impressive Buddha statues. In the evening, you will explore the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks. After an eventful day, you will enjoy an overnight stay in Sigiriya, surrounded by nature and history.
Sigiriya to Kandy
After enjoying breakfast in Sigiriya, you will begin your journey towards Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Along the way, you will stop by a Herbal and Spice Garden, where you can discover the island’s rich tradition of natural healing. Once in Kandy, you will embark on a city tour, including a peaceful walk around the picturesque Kandy Lake. In the evening, experience the vibrant traditional cultural dance show, followed by a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a deeply spiritual site for Buddhists around the world. You will then settle in for a comfortable overnight stay in Kandy.
Kandy to Bentota
After breakfast in Kandy, you will head towards the coastal town of Bentota, known for its golden beaches and relaxing atmosphere. On the way, enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Madu River, where you’ll witness lush mangroves, small islands, and rich biodiversity. You will also visit a Turtle Conservation Project, where you can learn about efforts to protect endangered sea turtles. Later, explore the traditional Mask Industry, showcasing Sri Lanka’s vibrant culture and craftsmanship. The day ends with a peaceful overnight stay in Bentota.
Bentota to Airport
After breakfast in Bentota, you will proceed to Colombo, the vibrant commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a Colombo city tour, where you can explore colonial landmarks, bustling markets, and modern highlights of the city. Depending on your flight schedule, you will then be transferred to the airport, bringing your unforgettable Sri Lankan journey to a pleasant conclusion.
